It is likely that winter is not over, that a late trick of frost will descend upon us and ravage the now set peach buds, but I cannot help myself from gazing with wonder at the shimmering beauty of a fresh peach blossom. The bees zinged around my head, eager to collect pollen. Thankful that they did, because they pollenated what looks to be several dozen peaches on this one single tree. The other trees in the newly planted mini-orchard have not yet blossomed.

I can’t wait.
